A couple weeks ago I decided to finally try some of the expensive organic ice cream from the truck parked outside the building where I work. As I ordered and waited for my $3.95 large scoop of espresso ice cream delicious-ness, I noticed a guy inside filming another guy talking about the ice cream. Now that video is up HERE on New York Magazine’s website. Yummmmmmm.
Last night I attended the presentation of Geren Ford’s Spring 2009 collection for New York Fashion Week, covering model Laura (aka. At NYLON, we get a lot of stuff in the office - makeup, lotions, CDs, books, shoes, random attire, blah, blah, etc. Some of, quite frankly, is complete crap, and gets instantly thrown onto the freebie table, most likely never to be seen again, or maybe potentially be snagged by an intern. Luckily, last week, I was pleasantly surprised by this company Riot Tuxedo. They sent me over two shirts from their current collection and they are organic cotton, super soft, and so extremely tre cool.

It’s been a while. I’ve been internally debating whether or not to pick up this practice again, posting all the graphics that I make while at NYLON. Since previously I was only an intern and was there just 2 days a week, there weren’t quite so many of them to post as there are now, being that I’m all 9-5 full-timin’ and stuff. So instead, here are a few of the graphics I’ve made so far in my first 3 weeks on the job, a few I’m especially proud of.
