My graphic, linked.

I made this last Friday for our weekly Freebie Friday giveaway. And today I noticed it had been linked to on Confessions of a Casting Director (where we got the AH-mazing shirt from)!!

LOVE IT!
I wish I could find graphics I’ve made linked to on other sites!

Something I got at NYLON.

At NYLON, we get a lot of stuff in the office – makeup, lotions, CDs, books, shoes, random attire, blah, blah, etc. Some of, quite frankly, is complete crap, and gets instantly thrown onto the freebie table, most likely never to be seen again, or maybe potentially be snagged by an intern. Luckily, last week, I was pleasantly surprised by this company Riot Tuxedo. They sent me over two shirts from their current collection and they are organic cotton, super soft, and so extremely tre cool.

I got this one:

and this one:

So we gratefully blogged about the company on NYLON here. Check them out. Their shirts are awesomeeeeee.

It’s about time for one of those NYLON graphics posts.

It’s been a while. I’ve been internally debating whether or not to pick up this practice again, posting all the graphics that I make while at NYLON. Since previously I was only an intern and was there just 2 days a week, there weren’t quite so many of them to post as there are now, being that I’m all 9-5 full-timin’ and stuff. So instead, here are a few of the graphics I’ve made so far in my first 3 weeks on the job, a few I’m especially proud of.

Yes.

Why yes, my new job is going swell, thanks.

A week and a half on the job, and I’m still loving my new position at NYLON designing graphics, e-newsletters, youtube skins, ads, blah blah blah. Yes, I like what I do, and yes, I do truly believe that it’s better to be happy 24 hours/day than to work your butt off half that time and make more money, but be half as happy. This works for me right now, and I encourage everyone I know (or don’t know yet – thanks for reading my blog even though we’ve never met, i love you) to find something similarly as comfortable. Imagine how much different the world would be if everyone was happy at their job.
