Marry me.

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

There are some days when I’m convinced, marriage just isn’t in my future. It’s not a pessimism in me or anything like that, but rather, I just don’t feel like I’ll ever be completely 100% settled on the person I’ve chosen to date long enough to allow myself to be proposed to.

And then there are days like today, when I find (collectively) $0.28 throughout the day and read art and design blogs until I find this, my engagement ring. To the man who wants to marry me – if you really do, put this around my neck, rather than a ring around my finger (I’ll wear a ribbon instead, who cares.):

Pentax LX Gold

That’s how I’ll know you really love me.

St. Tropez Leisure Camera Print Swimsuit with Adjustable Straps

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Dear St. Tropez Leisure,
I’m obsessed with your Camera Print Swimsuit with Adjustable Straps. This bathing suit is too cute. I know, I know. I like it because it has a camera on it, a screenprinted camera nonetheless. It’s beautiful and perfect and sooooo me. But far too expensive for my budget even if that price was in dollars, not pounds!

Someday St. Tropez, someday.

Love,
Kelly

I WANT This Necklace.

Friday, March 28th, 2008

So it’s pretty convoluted how I came about the VANE online store, but now that I’ve seen it, I’m determined to get this amazing camera necklace – although I haven’t decided yet if I like the antique gold or gun metal best. Maybe if I suddenly come into a nice new chunk of income next week, I’ll buy both of them as a congratulations gift to myself. Or someone can claim to be my secret admirer and buy it for me. Or you can all donate a few dollars each to the “Kelly Really Likes That Camera Necklace and Deserves to Have It” fund I’ll start soon because there are no holidays coming up in the near future.

Too far?

Anyway, this necklace is adorable, and so are a lot of the other things they have on their website. I may have to check out one of their store locations. Thanks to VANE for leaving a comment on NYLON Magazine’s MySpace page.
