So a little while ago, I posted about an article NYLON put up featuring a few of my photos from the new Woodley & Bunny boutique. At the time I hadn’t posted the full album of images yet, but now, all is up. Check out the store and all the pics I took of the interior and merchandise set up in it thus far by clicking any of these images.

Woodley & Bunny: The Boutique (The Full Album)
Wednesday, March 12th, 2008If But When: The Portrait Session
Monday, March 3rd, 2008On Sunday I met up with some great guys, the band If But When so that I could take a few promo photos of them for future use. They’ve got a terrific sound and definitely deserved some worthy photos to represent them.
They picked me up at my place and we wandered down near the water and the old Domino Sugar factory on Kent Ave. for some fun inductrial set-ups. It turned out to be an ideal area, with lots of different backgrounds to work with.
You can see the entire album of the photos I took by clicking any of the images below.
Woodley & Bunny: The Boutique
Wednesday, February 27th, 2008Yesterday morning I got to check out Woodley & Bunny‘s new clothing boutique and take a few picture for NYLON. The store officially opens with full hours later in March, but it’s practically set up and ready for business from the look of it. The boutique is in the space where the salon originally was house and boasts beautiful wood floors, lots of open space, lots of small lights above, and an overall hip, loft-like feel to it. They have everything wearable imaginable in there: clothing, accessories, sunglasses, belts, shoes, even clothing for guys. A very small selection of the photos I took there are on NYLON’s site now so just click the graphic above to see them and read Samantha’s far more eloquent write-up about the boutique, salon, and apothecary.
Photowalk #2
Tuesday, February 19th, 2008Marc and I finally went on our second (obviously not weekly) photowalk on Saturday. This time we went straight for food at Fabiane’s and then just decided to stay local, wandering around the fringes of Williamsburg, first as close to the water as we could get, then south, then east. Then I found a big wooden mirror and threw it over my back (OK, Marc carried it for most of the trip back) to take home and turn into an art project (I’ve had a can of neon pink spraypaint just itching to be used on my bookshelf for months now) so we were forced to head back to my apartment.
It was a gorgeous day out and my ‘burg is full of fun graffiti. Here are some of the images, but as always, click on any one of them for the full album.
Meet Tigger, Newest Roommate
Tuesday, February 19th, 2008Everyone say hello to Tigger, our new cat. He used to belong to my cousin Nigal and her family, but got to be a bit too much for them over there and it just so happened that all the apartment-mates and I were starting to itch for a real (ie. something furry and loving, unlike the turtles) pet. Our lease says we can’t have any big dogs, and small ones only with our landlord’s OK, but there is nada about having a cat. I brought him home with me after a weekend visit upstate just over a week ago and he’s already getting used to me shoving the camera at him every 5 minutes.
