Sorry I don’t have much to post the past umm… week.

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

So I’ve been horribly busy (despite last week being my “spring break” from grad school) with very little to show for it as far as photography and design. My deepest apologies. I promise there will be things to post very soon.

For now though, to tide you over until I have more to view, go to the NYLON website, where all of the NYLON related ads (ie. Urban Outfitters T-shirts and “Subscribe Now”) were created by me. To see all of the ads without searching every page of the website, just check out my previous posts about all the ads.

Another NYLON Graphics Round-up

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

Only a small few to mention this time around and they’re both pretty similar. Not too much work had to be put in to make these two. I was working on some other, non-design, projects for most of the day that I made these.

(Note: those flags were at their feet in the original image we had of them.)

My Words on NYLONmag.com

Monday, March 17th, 2008

This is something a bit new/old for me. I started out my NYC life with a journalism major and an editorial direction, and have since then scorned editorial grunt work for the more luxurious digital and art departments of the publishing world. On Friday though, my newfound freedom from journalistic writing was thrown ashambles and I was asked to write up a few little blurbs for the NYLON website about various places in Austin (most of which I have never heard of or been to in my past few years of SXSW attendance, oddly enough) not pertaining directly to the shows. To make it more interesting, I had to leave in half an hour. Research and writing done for all in 30 minutes flat.

Some Graphics I’ve Made for NYLON Lately

Thursday, March 13th, 2008

Not only did I make the above graphic, but I arranged the articles in it and took the photograph. Click on it to check out the accompanying article.

Same goes for the lookbook photo below:

The rest of the graphics I had nothing to do with the photography.

Woodley & Bunny: The Boutique (The Full Album)

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

So a little while ago, I posted about an article NYLON put up featuring a few of my photos from the new Woodley & Bunny boutique. At the time I hadn’t posted the full album of images yet, but now, all is up. Check out the store and all the pics I took of the interior and merchandise set up in it thus far by clicking any of these images.
